My dad started his own company, Eglinton Instruments, in 1983 - representing chromatography instrument manufacturers in New England. For 4 years, I had the privilege of working with him.
During that time, I learned a lot about customer experience through the sales process, installing lab equipment and software, training, service and support. I also came to love my dad's consultative approach to sales. Above all else, he wanted his customers to be successful - even if it meant that he didn't get the 'next sale'.
Eglinton Insights is, in part, an homage to Eglinton Instruments. (I even borrowed a part of the italicized EI logo.)
